Detailed Solution

The Bible was first printed on the Gutenberg printing press.
The Gutenberg Bible, also known as the 42-line Bible or the Mazarin Bible, was printed by Johannes Gutenberg and is considered to be the first fully printed book in the West. The Gutenberg Bible, like other contemporary books, lacked a title page, page numbers, and any other improvements that would have set it apart from a manuscript copyist's work. This was probably what Gutenberg and his clients wanted. Despite its wasteful use of space, experts mostly concur that the Bible exhibits a level of technical proficiency that had not been much enhanced before the 19th century. Gothic architecture has a regal aspect, a mediaeval air, and is a little less compact and pointed than other examples that followed.
