Detailed Solution

The Gujarati traders comprised the Hindu Baniyas and Muslim Bohras in the eighth century. They had contact with the Red Sea, the Persian Gulf, and East African regions. They also had trade ties with Southeast Asia and China. Indian textiles and spices were exported, while silver, gold, blue Chinese porcelain, ivory, tin, and tin were imported via the ports of these regions. Many of these goods were also sold in European marketplaces, which drew traders from Europe to India.
