●        Therefore, the 97th Amendment Act of 2011 inserted the word "cooperative" to the constitution in order to promote cooperative economic activities that advance rural India.
●        The freedom to establish cooperative societies is a fundamental right since the phrase "cooperative societies" was added to Article 19(1). Part IV of the Constitution was amended by Act 43-B, which included a new directive principle of state policy (DPSP) on the promotion of cooperative societies.
