Detailed Solution

Ashoka dispatched emissaries to propagate the dhamma's teachings in places like Syria, Egypt, Greece, and Sri Lanka. A Dhamma that Ashoka developed did not entail offering sacrifices or worshipping deities. He believed that he was responsible for instructing his subjects, just like a father attempts to teach his children. The Buddha's teachings also served as inspiration for him. He was concerned about a variety of issues. Conflict occasionally resulted from the numerous religions practised by the Empire's citizens. Animal sacrifices were made. Ashoka considered it his obligation to find solutions to these issues. He then appointed Dhamma Mahamatta officers, who travelled everywhere instructing people about the Dhamma.
