Detailed Solution

The French armies moved into Holland, Belgium, Switzerland, and much of Italy in the 1790s.
In the 1790s, to assist other regions in Europe in becoming nations, the French revolutionaries stated that it was the duty and destiny of the French nation to free them from despotism. Students and other educated middle-class people started forming Jacobin clubs as soon as word of the events in France spread throughout Europe's cities. Their operations and wars laid the groundwork for the French forces' incursions into Holland, Belgium, Switzerland, and a large portion of Italy. The French military started exporting ideas of nationalism to other European cities after the start of the Revolutionary Wars.
