Detailed Solution

The Tripartite pact was signed by Germany, Italy and Japan on September 27, 1940.
After signing the Tripartite Pact Germany, Italy and Japan became allies. This pact was signed to create mutual assistance that is if any of the countries faces any attack the other two countries assist them in the war. This pact was signed to discourage America from entering into the war. Later places like Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia and Croatia also became a part of this pact.
