Detailed Solution

During World War 2, the Axis Powers included Germany, Italy, and Japan. The German and Italian Accords led to the formation of the alliance, followed by the declaration of the Rome-Berlin Axis (October 25, 1936). The German-Japanese Anti-Comintern Pact against the Soviet Union was signed on November 25, 1936. The three principal members of the Axis Powers were ruled by autocracies: Germany, ruled by Adolf Hitler, Italy by Benito Mussolini and Japan by Emperor Hirohito.
