Detailed Solution

Printing technology was first developed in China, Japan, and Korea.
The system of printing was the hand print. The books in China were printed from 594 AD. The rubbing sheets were used and printed using inked woodblocks. Both sides of the seats were not printed. Instead, the sheets were folded and stitched at the sides, known as Chinese accordion books. In Japan, the technology was introduced from China by Buddhist missionaries. It was from China that printing technology was taken to Europe. Marco Polo visited China and brought with him the technique of hand printing. After which, it spread to Europe.
