The United States dropped the atomic bomb on Japan.
Two atom bombs were dropped on the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan, ending the Second World War. The US was neutral during the Second World War, but the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbour. This attack united the US with the Allies, and Japan was in the Axis group. Meanwhile, the USSR was a friend of Germany when the Second World War started, but the situation changed when Germany attacked Russia on June 22nd, 1941. Due to this, Russia joined the Allies. However, Germany was the leader of the Axis powers. Moreover, Germany attacked Poland, and the UK and France declared war on Germany. Hence the Second World War started from 1930 to 1945.
