Which element we can find in the thermometer?

An element called mercury is located inside the thermometer. Mercury is used in thermometers because it is a lustrous substance that remains fluid at room temperature and does not moisten the glass surface. Those thermometers in which mercury is present should be used very carefully because if the glass breaks and mercury comes out then it can cause a lot of problems and can make the atmosphere contaminated.
