Which elements are created during a supernova?

During a supernova explosion, many heavy elements are created, such as iron, gold, silver, and uranium. The intense heat and energy cause atoms to fuse together, forming new elements that did not exist before. These elements are then scattered throughout the universe when the star explodes, eventually becoming part of new stars, planets, and even living things. Supernovas are responsible for the creation and distribution of most of the heavy elements found on Earth and elsewhere in space.
