Detailed Solution

Latitude and altitude are responsible for any area's pressure and wind system.
Closer to the ground, the wind speed is much lower to the ground due to friction. The winds are strongest at higher latitudes. Jet streams are one such strong wind that occurs at high altitudes.
Wind generally moves from high pressure to a low-pressure region. The wind is generally colder at high pressure, while hot air prevails in low-pressure areas. There are three major wind belts, the tropical easterlies (trade winds) in the equatorial belt, the polar easterlies in the poles, and the prevailing westerlies between these two. These wind belts exist based on the latitudes they prevail in.
