Detailed Solution

One central mosque constructed under the Mughal Empire was the Jama Masjid in Delhi. The Arabic word for "Friday Mosque," Jama Masjid, is also used to refer to Masjid-e-Jehan Numa. Shah Jahan, the Mughal emperor, built one of the most splendid mosques between 1650 and 1656. The Muslim shrine, which has been around for 363 years, is one of the best specimens of Mughal design. The magnificent building has two 131-foot-tall minarets, three enormous domes, and three imposing gateways and is covered in white marble and red sandstone. It has Mecca's holy City in the west as its direction. Additionally, the mosque has a capacity of up to 25,000 people at once.
