Detailed Solution

In gaseous state, the forces of attraction among the molecules are negligible. When gases are cooled or pressure is exerted on them, they come close to one another. Due to Van der Waal's or dipole forces, they get bound to one another, resulting in the change of state from gas to liquid.

Columbic forces of attraction are found among charged particles and gases in free state are not charged, so this cannot be our answer.

Hydrogen bonding is possible only in those elements in which electronegative F, O and N atoms are present. In H2, there is no possibility of Hydrogen bonding.
