Which hormones regulate reproduction in frogs and humans?

In frogs, reproductive processes are controlled mainly by hormones such as gonadotropins and sex steroids. The hypothalamus releases gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH), which stimulates the pituitary gland to secrete follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH). FSH helps in the growth of eggs in females and sperm formation in males, while LH triggers ovulation and the release of sex hormones like estrogen and testosterone. Environmental factors such as temperature and rainfall also influence these hormones, triggering breeding seasons. In humans, the same hormonal system operates but in a more regulated manner.
