Which hormones regulate the menstrual cycle?

The menstrual cycle is a 28-day cycle seen in Women. 

During this cycle, every month women get ready for pregnancy if the male and female gametes fuse and form the zygote. 

There are 4 phases of the menstrual cycle, follicular, ovarian, luteal and menstrual phase. It is controlled by female sex hormones:
i. Estrogen
ii. Progesterone
iii. Luteinizing Hormone
