Detailed Solution

Purshottamdas Thakurdas, G.D. Birla, and Abdul Ghaffar Khan supported the  Civil Disobedience Movement.
Indian industrialists and merchants reacted against colonial regulations that limited economic activity since they were eager to grow their businesses. Leading the struggle against colonial control of the Indian economy were important entrepreneurs like Purshottamdas Thakurdas and G. D. Birla, who also backed the Civil Disobedience Movement. A devoted follower of Mahatma Gandhi named Abdul Ghaffar Khan also participated in the campaign but was detained in April 1930. Most businessmen began to view the swaraj era as one in which trade and industry would prosper, free from colonial restraints.
