Detailed Solution

“The Constitution of India did not declare any language as national language” is the correct statement regarding language policy of the Indian Government.
The term "national language" refers to the language consistently spoken throughout the country and across all media (government or private). According to Article 343, the Central Government must communicate with the states in the Hindi Belt in Hindi. Its status as the national language was not recorded in the Constitution because only 40% of Indians spoke it. English is used as an associated official language when communicating with the states. As a result, the Indian Constitution recognises Hindi and English as official languages instead of national languages.
