Detailed Solution

The Himalayas' highest peak, the Kanchenjunga, is located in India.
Kanchenjunga is the third-highest peak in the world, with an elevation of 8586 metres. The top of Kanchenjunga is made of five peaks. Kanchenjunga translates from Tibetan to mean "five riches of snow." After being surveyed as part of the Great Trigonometrical Survey of India, Kanchenjunga was ranked as the third-highest mountain peak in the world in 1856. Before this, it was believed to be the world's highest mountain peak until 1852.
