Detailed Solution

Jupiter is the largest planet in the solar system.
Jupiter, which surpasses all other planets in both mass and volume, is by far the largest planet in our solar system. Jupiter's diameter, at 140,000 km, is roughly 11 times that of Earth, and its mass is more than  300 times that of Earth. Even at its current reduced size, Jupiter's Great Red Spot measures 15,900 kilometres, or just over one full Earth diameter. Compared to the other planets in the solar system combined, Jupiter is 212times more massive. But despite its size, Jupiter rotates in just 10 hours per day!
