Detailed Solution

Banjaras is the nomadic community of India. A historically nomadic trading caste in what is now Rajasthan, India, the Banjara may have their roots there. Some people benefited from the increased trade opportunities that had arisen once the forest department assumed control of the forests, even though many suffered losses. Many villages began trading in forest goods instead of continuing their traditional vocations. We have records of adivasi (tribal) villages selling elephants and other things through nomadic groups like the Banjaras as early as the Middle Ages, including hides, horns, silk cocoons, ivory, bamboo, spices, fibres, grasses, gums, and resins.
