The tallest and most northern mountain range in the Himalayas is called Himadri, commonly known as the Greater Himalayas Range or the Higher Himalayas. The southern Tibet Autonomous Region of China borders it on the north, and it extends southeastward via northern Pakistan, northern India, and Nepal before turning eastward through Sikkim state (India), Bhutan, and then northeastward through northern Arunachal Pradesh state (India).
