Pascal’s law states that pressure exerted in any confined mass of fluid is transmitted undiminished in all directions.
According to Pascal’s law, if any pressure is applied on any part of the boundary of a confined fluid, it is transmitted equally in all directions irrespective of the area on which it acts, and it always acts to the surface of the containing vessel at the right angles.
