Union government has the power to legislate on the residuary subjects.
According to our constitution, the Union Government can legislate on residuary issues that do not fall into any of the three lists(State, Union, Concurrent lists) or that arose after the constitution was written. Computer software, e-commerce etc., are an example of a residuary list.
