The third level of the Panchayati Raj system includes Zila Parishad. For five years, members of the Zila Parishad are chosen from the area depending on the adult establishment. Zila Parishad has a minimum of 50 members and a maximum of 75. There are seats reserved for women, other backward classes, scheduled castes, and scheduled tribes.
