Detailed Solution

Concept- A mixture of substances can be separated by using multiple methods of separation.
Now, when a solid substance directly changes its state from solid to gaseous on heating without going through the liquid phase, then this process is known as sublimation. The substance that can undergo sublimation is called sublimate.
Now, in the given mixture, camphor is a sublimate. Thus, camphor is separated by the method of sublimation.
The other two components are common salt and chalk powder which can be separated by filtration method as common salt is soluble in water while chalk powder is not.
Therefore, both sublimation and filtration are involved in separating a mixture of common salt, chalk powder and powdered camphor.
Hence, the correct option is (3).
