Detailed Solution

Humayun was defeated by Sher Shah Suri. He was succeeded by Humayun, Babur's oldest son, who ruled the Mughal empire as its second emperor. From 1530 to 1540 and 1555 to 1556, he was in power. And in this space, the Afghan king Sher Shah conquered Bengal and founded the Suri dynasty. A threat from Ahmad Shah had to be taken care of when Humayun marched into Gujarat. In the battle of Chausa and Kannauj, he defeated Humayun. He then turned his attention to Gujarat and took control of the forts of Mandu and Champener.
