Over grazing, forest fire, commercial logging (All of the above) are causes of deforestation.

Forest is an area dominated by trees and vegetation. Various living organisms inhabit forest and survive on its resources, including humans. When these large number of trees of an area are cut for commercial purposes like logging, construction, setting industries, or for animal grazing, firewood, and other reasons, it leads to mass destruction of not only trees but also the wildlife, this is termed as deforestation. These are all man-made causes. Deforestation can also occur naturally by forest fires which has similar consequences as man-made deforestation.
