Dang-Dibang is a bio-reserves of India that is not in the world network of bio-reserves. The Indian Government has launched many acts and policies to protect wildlife, such as the Wildlife Protection Act of 1972. India has 106 National parks, 72 bird sanctuaries, and 18 Biosphere reserves. Out of these, ten are part of the world network of biosphere reserves.
