Acetyl CoA is the common metabolite that arise from respiratory breakdown of carbohydrates, lipid (fats) & proteins. Fructose-6-phosphate and Glucose – 6 – phosphate does not arise from fats and proteins.  Pyruvic acid may or may not arise from fats and proteins.
