Istri Dharm Vichar is a book that sought to teach women how to be obedient wives. Ram Chaddha published Istri Dharm Vichar to teach women how to be obedient wives. In Punjab, folk literature about ‘discussing women issues’ was widely printed from the early ‘20th century’. These were published as women started reading books, so books were printed for women. It discussed the issues related to them in the 20th century, regarding their education, widow remarriage, and more problems of the time.
