Detailed Solution

Nepal won their Democracy in the 1990s (Third Wave). Actual authority is wielded by elected officials. The transition from an absolute monarchy to a constitutional monarchy was endorsed by King Brinda. Popular demand in the pro-Democratic protest built pressure on the king to meet all the demands. The Interim Constitution included a Constituent Assembly, which was tasked with drafting Nepal's rudimentary constitution. In 1990, the primary Jana Andolan, or Popular Revolt, returned Nepal to a multi-party majority rule system. The Kingdom of Nepal's Constitution of 1990 abolished restrictions on ideological groupings, created a popularity-based agent structure in which the lord's authority was reduced, and venerated vital rights.
