Detailed Solution

The factors determining population change are Migration, Birth Rate, and Death Rates.
1)      Births and deaths are the natural reasons for population change. The difference between the birth and death rate is the population growth rate. Suppose the birth rate is greater than the death rate, the population growth rate increases yearly and vice versa. So this affects the total population size and change.
2)      Besides the natural increase or decrease of population, population size is affected by migration. Migration is the motion of humans inside and outside of an area. People may circulate within or among countries. A high rate of emigration reduces the population size of a country, and high rates of immigration increase the population size of a country.
