Detailed Solution

Landforms, soil, and climate are the factors which influence the type and distribution of natural vegetation. Landforms are different kinds of vegetation that grow on diverse terrain—for example- thorn vegetation on deserted landforms and montane vegetation on mountain landforms. Alluvial soil is more fertile and leads to better vegetation, while arid soil is less fertile and doesn't support much vegetation. This soil type defines vegetation cover. A good amount of vegetation cover needs good rainfall and sunlight. The equatorial belt has an evergreen forest type because of the availability of both heavy rain and direct sunlight.
