Detailed Solution

Afghans, Rajputs, and Turanis were the groups of people constituted as the mansabdars.
The Mughals hired a diverse group of individuals as their empire grew to span several different regions. They began as a small group of Turkish nobility or Turanis, and from there, they grew to encompass Iranians, Indian Muslims, Afghans, Rajputs, Marathas, and other ethnic groups. Mansabdars were those who enlisted in the Mughal military. A person who possesses a mansab, Arabic for position or rank, is referred to as a mansabdar. The Mughals employed a grading system to establish their rank, payment, and military duties. Mansabdars were paid by income assignments known as jagirs, similar to iqtas. Contrary to muqtis, however, most mansabdars did not live in or manage their jagirs.
