Detailed Solution

The inertia of stone is greater than that of a rubber ball of the same size.
Inertia is the property of matter which resists change in motion. It is the property of matter by which it continues to be in its existing state of rest or uniform motion in a straight line, unless acted upon by an external force. Inertia is directly dependent on the mass of the body, i.e.,  greater is the mass of a body, greater is its inertia. Since in the given case, the volume of both objects is the same, the inertia depends on density. Out of a rubber ball and a stone of the same size, the stone has more density and thus higher inertia, as compared to a rubber ball.
