Somatotrophic hormone (Growth hormone) is a pituitary hormone, produced by anterior pituitary gland upon receiving of GHRH from hypothalamus.

GnRH, oxytocin and somatostatin are hypothalamic hormones.

GnRH stimulate anterior pituitary gland to release gonadotropin.

Somatostatin (GHIH) send signal to anterior pituitary gland to inhibit the secretion of growth hormone.

Oxytocin is secreted by hypothalamus and stored in posterior pituitary gland.
