Somatotropin is the growth hormone secreted by the anterior pituitary. 

The hypothalamus produces somatocrinin, somatostatin, GnRH, etc. 

Somatocrinin stimulates the secretion of GH while somatostatin inhibits the secretion of GH from the anterior pituitary. 

GnRH stimulates the secretion of gonadotropins (FSH and LH) from the anterior pituitary.
