Detailed Solution

The police fired at peasants in the United Provinces in the vicinity of Rae Bareli on January 6, 1921.
As the Non-Cooperation movement gained traction in 1921, talukdars' and merchants' homes were attacked, bazaars were pillaged, and food hoards were seized. During the Non-Cooperation Movement (1920–1922), Jawaharlal Nehru helped the peasants of the United Provinces. 13 peasants were killed after police opened fire. The police prevented Jawaharlal Nehru from going to the shooting location.
