Presence of abnormal number of chromosomes in a cell is called aneuploidy. Point mutations are mutations with single base pair difference(addition, deletion or change). When cell contains more than two complete sets of chromosomes, that condition is called polyploidy. Transversion is also a point mutation in which a pyrimidine is replaced with purine or vice versa.
