Detailed Solution

Caribbean islands, Mauritius, and Ceylon are destinations where indentured labour from India arrived.
The majority of Indian indentured labourers originated in what are now eastern Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, central India, and the arid parts of Tamil Nadu. The Caribbean islands (particularly Trinidad, Guyana, and Surinam), Mauritius, and Fiji were the principal destinations for Indian indentured workers. Tamil immigrants from the area travelled to Ceylon and Malaya. Additionally, indentured labourers were hired for Assam's tea plantations. Agents employed by employers and given a modest commission handled the recruitment.
