Detailed Solution

The Seditions Act of 1870 is a repressive law.
1)      If anyone was found protesting or criticising the British Government, they could be arrested without a trial as per the Sedition act. The British Government passed it in 1870. The law applied to anything the Government considered as provoking resistance against them. It is a non-bailable offence.
2)      The Hindu Succession Amendment Act 2005 provides an equal share to sons, daughters, and their mothers in the family property. The objective of this act is to remove discrimination based on gender.
3)      The Domestic Violence Act of 2005 was made to protect women from domestic violence.
