First generation Peshwa, who was the son of Vishwanath Pant Bhat Deshmukh, was represented by Balaji Vishwanath. He was born on January 1st, 1662, and passed away on April 12, 1720. He was wed to Radhabai Barve, and together they had four children: Baji Rao I, Chimaji Appa, Bhiubai, and Anubai.
Shahu I nominated Baji Rao I, also known as Bajirao I, as the Peshwa in the year 1720. Baji Rao I was born on August 18, 1700, and he passed away on April 28, 1740. His younger brother, Chimaji Appa, was a military leader. Balaji Bajirao Peshwa and Raghunathrao, the couple's two sons, were born to Bajirao and Kashibai.
Balaji Baji Rao, popularly known as Nana Saheb Peshwa, was born on December 8th, 1720, and passed away on June 23rd, 1761. Following Chhatrapati Shahu retirement, he was named Peshwa. Madhavrao I, Vishwasrao, and Narayan Rao were his three children from his marriage to Gopikabai.
