Neyveli is a lignite coal mine in Tamil Nadu,  Bokaro coal mine is located in Damodar valley of West Bengal, and Talcher coal mine is present in Jharkhand. The Kudremukh mines are located in the Western ghats of Karnataka and are known to be one of the largest mines of iron ore in the world.
