Detailed Solution

Jowar is not a leguminous crop.
Leguminous crops have swelled-like structures in their root, known as nodules, that contain nitrogen-fixing microorganisms known as rhizobia. The term leguminous alludes to plants in the vegetable family, which includes plants that produce beans, peas, and lentils. They can absorb nitrogen from the air, which may be the primary plant food. They also increase nitrogen in the soil that they don't utilize. The small swellings-like structure should be visible on the foundation of a bean or groundnut. They are known as nodules. Microbes colonize the nodules. These microbes feed on the plant's sugars and starches; instead, they fix nitrogen and make it possible for the roots where they reside. Plants and microscopic organisms both benefit from coexistence.
