The stomach does not belong to the large intestine. 

The stomach is an organ in the digestive system that is responsible for mechanical and chemical food breakdown. 

The cecum, colon, rectum, and anus comprise the large intestine, and its primary function is to absorb water and electrolytes from the remaining undigested food matter and form faeces.

The cecum connects the large intestine to the small intestine. The colon is the longest segment of the large intestine and is divided into four sections. The rectum is the final segment of the large intestine and stores faeces until they are eliminated, and the anus is the opening through which faeces are eliminated from the body.
