Detailed Solution

Indian Parliament consists of the President, the Lok Sabha, and the Rajya sabha. The President of the Republic is elected by an electoral college consisting of elected members of both Houses of Parliament and elected members of the Legislative (Famous Houses) of States. Although the President of India is a Member of Parliament, he does not sit or participate in debates in both Houses. There are certain constitutional functions to be performed in Parliament. The President convenes and introduces two Houses of Parliament from time to time. Although Rajya Sabha is a progressive organisation, the power to disband Lok Sabha lies with the President. His approval is crucial to a Bill passed by both Houses of Parliament.
