Detailed Solution

Ghrelin is secreted mainly from the endocrine cells of the stomach. it stimulates appetite and increases food intake. Leptin predominantly made by adipocytes and enterocytes in the small intestine. It inhibits hunger, which in turn diminishes fat storage in adipocytes. PYY, secreted by the endocrine cells of the intestine, inhibits gut motility and stimulate satiety response. Histamine secreted by enterochromaffin-like cells stimulates the secretion of HCl.
