The number of vibrations in one second is called frequency(f).
The wavelength is the shortest distance over which the wave repeats itself. (λ)
The velocity is the distance travelled in one second (v).
Wavelength is defined as the distance travelled in one time period (t).
Therefore, Wavelength = Velocity × time period
λ = v × t
