 Median =l+ h× N 2 cf f   , where l=   lower limit of the median class, h=   size of the median class, f=   frequency of the median class, N=   sum of frequencies and  cf.=   cumulative frequency of the class just preceding the median class.

N2=55+x2
l=20 h=10 c.f=30 f=x  
Substituting the values,
24=20+55+x2-30x×10
24-20=55+x2-30x×10
4=55+x2-30×10
4x=275+5x-300
4x-5x=275-300
-x=-25
x=25
Hence, the missing frequency is 25.
